A pianist and winner of international competitions, holds a doctorate from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He has trained 85 first-prize winners in international competitions and serves as a visiting professor at many Chinese universities. He has received the National Friendship Award from the Chinese government and the “Ambassador of International Experience” from the Mayor of Shanghai.
