第一届中新国际音乐比赛于2007年在新加坡创办，比赛的初衷以推动音乐教育方式改变为核心，立志创办为最具专业性、规模性的国际音乐比赛之一。创始人夏罡（中国）、奥列格.夏洛夫（俄罗斯）、黄金顺（新加坡）均为教育界知名人士，比赛主办方伽地文化于2017年荣获《文化艺术活动的创办、实施及管理》ISO9001国际质量体系认证，2025年获批成为联合国教科文组织国际音乐理事会成员单位。中新国际音乐比赛着眼于选手的教育经历和教育出口，提出“艺术经历塑造人生高度”的素质教育理念，服务全球选手。
The inaugural Zhongsin International Music Competition was established in 2007 in Singapore, with the original intention of promoting changes in music education methods at its core, aiming to become one of the most professional and large-scale international music competitions. The founders, Xia Gang (China), Oleg Sharov (Russia), and Ng.Kimsoon(Singapore), are all renowned figures in the educational community. The organizer of the competition, Gade Culture, was awarded the ISO9001 International Quality System Certification for the “Establishment, Implementation, and Management of Cultural and Artistic Activities” in 2017, and in 2025, it was approved to become a member of the International Music Council of UNESCO. The Zhongsin International Music Competition focuses on the educational experiences and outcomes of the participants, proposing the quality education concept that “artistic experiences shape the height of life,” serving global participants.
中新国际音乐比赛项目包括：钢琴、声乐、民乐、现代键盘器乐、弦乐、管乐、打击乐、流行表演、音乐原创；比赛形式涵盖：独奏、重奏、合奏、重唱、合唱、乐团；比赛为推选&决赛制，覆盖全部年龄段。平均每年有来自全世界近 20 个国家和地区， 1000 多名选手通过推选进入决赛， 21年来总计超过 1000000人次参加了入围推选，其中超过 20000名选手参加了决赛，是亚洲最具规模和影响力的音乐赛事之一。比赛期间组委会还将在新加坡具有文化地标性的音乐场馆举行世界顶级艺术家音乐会及学术讲座。每年代表中国入围决赛的有数百名来自全国 11 所音乐学院、各类大学艺术院系、优秀音乐教育机构的选手，他们都是从全国近 50000 人的推选当中脱颖而出的佼佼者。组委会在亚洲、欧洲、北美洲多个国家和地区设有入围推选点，参与承办的机构包括艺术院校、培训机构、大型琴行、文化公司、演出公司、音乐协会及业内知名专家。随着比赛影响力的提升，组委会对于比赛的准备、评委的安排以及艺术家的邀请都提出了更高的要求，并且在获奖选手的后续推广上继续加强力度，除了获得奖金外，组委会还会帮助他们举办国际性的巡回演出、录制发行出版物、推荐至世界顶级音乐学院留学，为帮助他们规划好学业和事业、提高他们的知名度创造更为实际的条件。
Zhongsin International Music Competition includes the following categories: Piano, Vocal, Traditional Chinese Instruments, Modern Keyboard Instruments, Strings, Woodwinds and Brass, Percussion, Pop performance, and Music Composition. The competition formats include: Solo, Ensemble, Orchestra, Vocal Ensemble, Choir, and Band. The competition operates on a nomination & final round system and is open to participants of all age groups. On average, more than 1,000 contestants from nearly 20 countries and regions compete in the finals upon recommendation, and over the past 21 years, over 1,000,000 contestants have participated in the preliminaries, of which more than 20,000 made it to the finals. Our competition is one of the largest and most influential music events in Asia. During competitions, the Organizing Committee will also holds concerts and academic lectures given by the world’s best artists at Singapore’s cultural landmark music venues. Each year, hundreds of contestants representing China compete in the finals. They come from 11 colleges of music, from the art departments of various universities, and from excellent music training institutions; they are the best of the best who stand out from a national pool of 50000. The organizing committee has preliminary competition points in multiple countries and regions in Asia, Europe, and North America; organizers included art schools, training institutions, large piano companies, cultural companies, performance companies, music associations and renowned experts in the music industry. With the competition becoming increasingly influential, the organizing committee put forward higher requirements for the preparation of the competition, the arrangement of the judges and the invitation of the artists, and strengthened the promotion of the winners after the competition. In addition to the awards, the organizing committee will help the winners organize international tours, record and distribute publications, recommend them to the world’s top music colleges for study, and create more practical conditions to help them plan their studies and careers and help their names to become more widely known.

2019年12月，在中国政府的支持下，第一座以中新比赛内容为实践基地的音乐厅——成都（伽地）社区音乐厅落成，音乐厅以公益演出为核心，向社会普及音乐艺术。中新比赛将在全球开启《优秀选手公益演出》计划，努力成为负责任的音乐公益行动者。
By December 2019, with the support of the Chinese government, construction of the first concert hall serving as a practice base for the Zhongsin Competition, the Gade Chengdu Community Concert Hall was completed, and the concert hall, with benefit concerts at the heart of its services, now help to popularize the music and art to the public. the Zhongsin competition will launch the “Charity performance of excellent players” program around the world, and strive to be responsible philanthropists of music.
2025年，主办方伽地音乐研究院正式获批成为联合国教科文组织下属国际音乐理事会成员单位，既增强了中国音乐艺术的国际影响力，又创造出更多的全球化发展机会。
In 2025, the organizer, the Gade Music Research Institute, was officially approved as a member unit of the International Music Council under UNESCO. This not only enhanced the international influence of Chinese music and art but also created more opportunities for global development.
